September 25th 2022 between 5am-3pm. Awards begin at 3:30

Location: The Royal Oyster (4159 Co Rd 6, Gulf Shores, AL 36542)

ENTRY FEE: $25 per angler

This is an open registration (limited to 150 anglers) Slot Redfish Tournament on Sunday September 25th from 5a.m. to 3p.m. with weigh in 12pm and 3p.m. This tournament benefits “The E&E Dantin Foundation” (an organization to help feed the community through free fish processing and distribution). 50% of net cash proceeds will benefit the foundation while the remainder will go to cash prizes. In addition, any fish an angler does not want to keep for themselves may be donated to E&E Dantin Foundation.

Anglers will compete for “Heaviest Slot Redfish”, “Flashiest Slot (most spots) Redfish”, “Heaviest Creel” (total weight of 3 slot Redfish) and the “Flashiest Creel” (total spots).
RULES:
● All Anglers must be registered by 11:59pm Saturday September 24th 2022.
● All fish entered must have been caught after 5 a.m. on Sunday September 25th and be present at the weigh station by 3 p.m. on Sunday September 25th.
● All fish entered in the tournament must have been caught on Rod & Reel. No Cast Nets. No Gigging. No Spears.
● Redfish will be within Alabama “slot” and must measure between 16” and 26” with a “pinched tail”
● All fish entered must comply with the State of Alabama’s Size and Creel Limits.
● Angler must be in line to weigh fish on Sunday September 25th by 3pm
● In the event of a tie, the Redfish with the most spots will win.
● Fishing is allowed in all Alabama state waters
● Weigh-In will be held Sunday September 25th from 12pm-3pm
● If you bring in a fish that is over slot size, the fish will be disqualified from the tournament.
● If you bring in a fish that is under slot size, the fish will be disqualified from the tournament and deemed ILLEGAL.
